Social Media: Product Based Businesses

Do you sell products or have a product based business? If so, there are many social media platforms you should consider, however, Pinterest, Facebook, and Live streaming are some of my favorites.

Pinterest is really the star when it comes to showcasing ecommerce and craft based products. Remember the site is viewed predominately by adult females, so the type of product featured will matter. However, a pin is a great free marketing tool to reap consistent benefits over an extended period of time.

There are too many industries to break down each one. However, this should give those new to social media or seeking to adapt their strategy an idea of where they need to be. Everyone should have a Facebook page since this gigantic platform attracts audiences of all demographics. The other platforms can be equally valuable, or more, if chosen for their dominant audience and diverse approach.

For anyone seeking to jump into the video content trend, YouTube, Vimeo and Vine are all top choices. Live streaming social media platforms ? such as Blab, Periscope, Meerkat, Facebook Live, & MeVee ? are also making huge waves right now. Snapchat is making it?s presence known in marketing as well and has carved itself a different type of niche in social media recently.

What do you think? Have you jumped in on the live video action? Do you have a favorite?
