How to Use Instagram Type with Stories

Instagram Type feature announced this week for Instagram Stories.

Instagram started rolling this out to all users this week – so, if you don't have the feature not to worry, you will soon. How to get started using the new Instagram Type feature in your Stories:

Go to your Home Page on Instagram & Tap Stories on the Top Left Profile Image + sign? ? ? ?

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?——->??

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then move to the left “Type” Option

 

From here you have four choices:

Modern, Neon, Typewriter, Strong.

 

 

 

You are also able to change colors, add emojis, write on the post and add stickers.

This allows you an additional way to be creative in your Instagram storytelling.

Combine short videos, still images and now type.

 

 

 

 

 

To make your text stand out try?highlighting different areas of your text.

Simply select the text you want to highlight, and click the button in the top left corner.

NOTE:?Highlights cannot be added in?Neon?or?Modern?mode.

In addition to the new “Type” feature, Instagram has added the ability to use the new fonts on your photos and videos. Incorporating these new fonts into your stories can help keep your followers engaged and clicking through on your stories.
